 How Do I Join Youghal Golf club ?

Learn how to become a member and the different catagories of membership that exist.

Membership is currently open for all categories of golfer – beginners, improvers, experienced and advanced. Ladies and gents have equal membership with equal rights.

Election to Membership

The Management Committee elects Social Members, Honorary Members, Honorary Life Members and Corporate Members. The maximum number of members in each category is decided by the Management Committee, in consultation with the respective clubs.

The Men’s Club Committee elects male playing members and the Ladies’ Branch Committee elects female playing members.

An application form may be requested from the Secretary by phone, email or by fax. Application for membership should be made to the relevant Hon. Secretary on the form provided, giving accurately, all the requested information. The form must be signed by the candidate's proposer and seconder. Either the proposer or seconder MUST be a member of the Current Committee of Youghal Golf Club. The other signature MUST be a full member of the Club. The application form is posted on the Club Notice Board for 14 days prior to consideration at a Committee Meeting. If the applicant is successful, all monies due must be paid within 2 weeks from date of notice. Successful applicants must be bound by the Constitution of Youghal Golf Club.

ANNUAL  SUBSCRIPTION FEES 2011/2012. Annual Subscription exludes personal affiliation of ladies to the Irish Ladies Golfing Union (ILGU €25 Poll Tax) and gents to the Golfing Union of Ireland (GUI €19 Poll Tax)
